The New Balance 1906R Dresses Up In Georgetown Reminsicent Colors
Schools the likes of Kentucky, UNC, and even UCLA are certainly well-celebrated. Georgetown, however, has only just entered the spotlight, as Jordan Brand recently applied the university’s signature colors to both the Air Jordan 1 ’85 and the Air Jordan 6. And while not quite an official nod to said academic institution, this newly-revealed New Balance 1906R could easily be mistaken for a Hoya.
Much like the above-mentioned Jordans, this 1906R is clad predominantly in two tones. Navy dresses many of the shoe’s accents, namely the lateral “N” logo, the branding along the tongue, and the detailing just below the heel. Elsewhere, grey rounds out the palette throughout the suede and mesh construction, its shade alternating between light and dark throughout.
For a closer look at this grey-on-blue New Balance 1906R, see below. These should be hitting Sneaker-master and select retailers very soon, so sit tight.
